Dr. Adam Shafran
Owner
Dr. Adam Shafran has been in practice for 27 years. After graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, he attended Life Chiropractic College, and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
In addition, Dr. Shafran is considered an internationally known health and fitness expert who has appeared and contributed material for global giants like the BBC Worldwide, The Huffington Post, WebMD, Women’s Fitness, Eating Well Magazine, and SoBeFit Magazine. He has co-authored two books “You Can’t Lose Weight Alone: The Partner Power Weight Loss Program,” and “35 Ways To Raise Active Kids.” Dr. Shafran has hosted and appeared weekly as “Dr. Fitness” on a very successful radio show in Atlanta, Georgia and has interviewed hundreds of celebrities, NY Times best-selling authors, pro athletes, internationally acclaimed chefs, and inspiring stories. His interviews have included people like Denise Austin, Jillian Michaels, Jack Lalanne, Kathy Smith, Jackie Warner, Marilu Henner, Rocco Dispirito, Devin Alexander, Lisa Lillien (“The Hungry Girl”), Football Legend Mercury Morris, Coach Brad Gilbert, Robby Ginepri, Dr. Brian Wansink, Dr. Barbara Rolls, Dr. David Kessler, Dr. Gerald Musante, Dr. Jonny Bowden, and countless others. Dr. De’Andra Stewart
After graduating from Chiropractic School, I knew that I was not done with my education. In my quest to be a proficient Chiropractor, I am always seeking the latest technique and technology to help with my patient care. I owe it to my patients and my colleagues to stay current with new information that is constantly on the rise, so my patients can have the best care possible.
Graduate: D.C., Life College of Chiropractic, Marietta, GA. Magna cum laude, Pi Tau Delta( International Chiropractic Honor Society), Harvey Lillard Scholarship, Certificate of Merit for Belief System and Performance, Board Certified National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Physiotherapy, Board Certified, National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Part I-IV, 120 Hours Physiological Therapeutics for Chiropractors, Gonstead Club, Activator Club, Thompson Club.
Internship: In Woodstock, GA, treated Mixed Martial Arts Combatants at local Tae Kwon Do studio, created newsletters and conducted practice management with doctor’s supervision, also educated children in Woodstock area day care centers about spine health.

Post Graduate: Currently training in Chiropractic BioPhysics, Certificate in training from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, McKenzie Diagnosis and therapy part A. Chiropractic research The Year in Review, Coding and Clinical Documentation/Document Risk Management, Neurology Update, Research Methods and Upper Extremities.
Community Interest
Being from a neighboring community, I feel as though I have a vested interest in the overall health of our region. My commitment to the community is to educate, inform, involve, and empower my patients in making sound decisions when it comes to health care and wellness. Having a strong presence in the community, and speaking to the public will provide the vehicle needed to facilitate awareness and impact the wellness of the region.
Member: Alabama State Chiropractic Association, North Alabama Chiropractic Society (Secretary/Treasurer) 2010-2012, and the American Chiropractic Association, Business Networking International Vice President 2011-2012.
I feel as though by working cooperatively with my fellow doctors, multiple solutions can be reached when seeking answers. I am proud to join North Alabama Spine and Rehab and I look forward to creating a unique synergy beneficial for all patients.

Brandy Clemons
Brandy Clemons is a Registered Physical Therapist and lives in Scottsboro, AL. Brandy has been in the physical therapy field going on 26 years now, and graduated from The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga.
